.Tk and .Co.NR Domain Names

I know, really short domain names. Really sign up form. What there's one major problem about those 2 domain registries, they're both re-directional domains. I don't like them because every page you go on the site, it will still be the same url. It will get annoying after a while because what if there's a certain page you want to save, well you can't if there's the re-directional domain setup on the site. So I recommend not to get a .Tk or a .CO.NR domain name. Instead, get a Co.CC or some of the domain in FreeDNS. 

Forum Ideas

Forum Ideas is big in making a community. You want to get something really unique because there are over 2 million forums out there. People love to chat about anything, so you may think you should create a general chat board, WRONG! Don't create a general chat board, there are too many general chat board out there and it might take months to get 5 members. Think something unique like talk about a specific TV Show or movie! That's a good idea and people would love to talk about that subject. But DON'T CREATE A PROMOTION BOARD! There are way too many promotion board out there and it could take years for it to be popular. So create something that haven't rarely been created. Like board games or vehicles. Also, don't create a gaming forum. Too many of those. So you get my point. Think of an idea that have been rarely discussed.

Forum Software Battle?

In other promotion forums, I see this question "Which Forum Software is Better?" Well, I'm about to review phpBB3, SMF, and MyBB. Those three are the most free and popular forum software in the world. 

phpBB3

phpBB3 is just a regular php bulletin board script. I got to say, it's very customizable. Easy to install styles and the styles are absolutely fantastic!! It's so customizable you know. But there's a huge downside about phpBB3, it's so hard to install mods! It takes patients and skills to install it. But it does come with the install manual, but it still hard to install. It includes editing files which is hard. That's why it's VERY recommended to make backups before install mods. But overall, it's a great forum software.

SMF

SMF, meaning Simple Machine Forum, is a okay forum software. Nice looking themes, but I dislike the layout of SMF. It's disgusting! Really easy to install styles AND MODS. All you have to do basically is just upload the zip file. That's it, no accessing to cPanel. It has a lot of bbcodes you can use, but it's pretty hard to add new ones. It requires you editing files...  So overall, easy to install styles and mods, but dislike the layout.

MyBB

MyBB is a okay forum software also. Nice themes, but the layout doesn't change obviously. Really easy to install themes and mods. But it requires you to access to your cPanel, which can be a hassle (only for mods). The awesome part is that it has lots of features like it already installed the Warning System and the Reputation for you. Also no need to setup permission because they already done that for you! Really easy to install styles, just upload the .xml file and your done. You can even edit templates without going to your cPanel! Awesome huh!

In my own opinion, the winner of this battle has to be MyBB. The reason why is that really easy to install mods and styles. You can edit templates without going to your cPanel, and it already comes with features you wanted like Reputation. Also the permission is already set for you!

Remember, this is my own opinion. I could be wrong..... So don't complain!

Low Statistics?

You are probably wondering, why is my website statistics are very low! The reason why is that you're not advertising your site very often. You may think that you need to pay to advertise. No true. Now in days, nice people are creating FREE PROMOTION sites so you can advertise your sites. Like this one, we offer some advertisement services. 

The other reason why your statistics are low is because your site doesn't have a domain name. I know, getting a domain name can be a pain. The last reason why is that you're not submitting your site to search engines. There are a lot of search engines you can submit your site in. But there is a service where you can submit your site to popular search engines all at once! It's called Submit Express! They offer you submission to Google, Yahoo, and other top search engines. Just submit there and wait for the approvals!
